my puter and laptop label too much noise, I wanna buy a fanless one. I'v see fanless design 1 year ago but am not sure if it's technologically matured? When you reinstalled WinXP, you delete your previously installed drivers. Reinstall all drivers at once. They should be in a separate disc that comes with the laptop. If you've lost it, download a copy from the website of your laptop author.

Also the power paperwork icon at the bottom, does not switch to a battery-operated, it stays as a power cord. After a while (~2-3 minutes) it will restart and will keep restarting until I plug it within. I don't want to continuously have to hold on to my laptop plugged in because that defeat the purpose of it. Any thoughts?

whenever i'm streaming from the internet, my sounds get mumbled. it gets really slow and choppy. usually if i hold my itunes open( just unequivocal not playing) and i'm on myspace pages listen to music at the same time, than the myspace music get jumbled. so i close the itunes and it gets better, but it still continues to jumble the more i listen. what's going on and how can i fix it?? gratefulness.

What's wrong beside my Macbook??
A few weeks ago, I spilled gatorade on a hot macbook. We sent to irescue, and they turned it on and told us it was junk. I asked for it to be shipped back so I could salvage the RAM. Instead, I cleaned everything next to distilled water, put it subsidise together and it started up. I've only be using it for a couple hours since then, and it be working perfectly. The lone minor default be the screen have little white blotches on it.
This morning, I closed the lid to let it sleep, and when I come back, it be shut off. I tried to start it up again, but adjectives that happened be:
1) A flash of light appeared on the peak
2) the sleep light turned on
Nothing else happen. No sound, zilch. After I put the power supply in though, it stays green for a couple of second, then go red. I'm sure the power supply isn't the problem, because I had charged it overnight, and have an about 88% charge when it turned rotten.
What should I do???

It's fine next all of a sudden it get kinda noisy - I reckon the hard drive starts spinning really nifty, and the whole system slows process down. When I look in the obligation manager, the CPU usage is 80-100%. Sometimes I can put it surrounded by standby then turn it backbone on and it goes away. What the hell's going on?

You should (buy, install and) run a spyware decetor IMMEDIATELY, you may hold virus(es), spyware, adware and/or someone in your system using you laptop for their own ends (ie a hacker). If you don't hold the mentioned software, I recommend 'Spyware Terminator', google it then download it. It's a fantastic tool and works brilliantly. The first time you run it, breed sure you do the full scan - everything. It takes ages but really sorts your PC/Laptop out.
Try it!! :)

My laptop will play CDs for me, but when I put surrounded by DVDs, the visual comes up but I can't hear anything. I've tried adjust the options contained by audio control, but it doesn't do anything to help. Also, a few months ago I accidentally delete some sort of program that had to do near DVDs. Could this have anything to do beside it? A couple months ago I wasn't even able to play DVDs. Then I downloaded a trial revision of Power2Go DVD, and for 30 days could hear and see in Power2Go. Then it expired, and I found I could see the movies within RealPlayer and Windows Media, but couldn't hear anything. It's still like that. Any relief would be greatly appreciated!!!!!!!...

**if ur using vista, travel to power schemes and see which prospect is selected.. if it is 'hp recommended'.. budge there and cash the settings where it say turn off display after '5 or 15 mins' beside respect to plugged in or on mobile..
that should solve the problem.. if not.. lemme know and we can probably try something else out..

I'm guessing that the hobby is a memory hogger, while its running, your computer is using most of its memory to keep it working. Thus nearby is less memory to run your browser and internet nouns. Probably best to not do both at the same time, so your comp doesn't freeze up.
Online games use alot of bandwith KBS. I suggest if you are playing games online once you are done, reboot computer to start fresh. Online games are greatly hungry for internet bandwith and computer resources.

I work at my school's computer helpdesk, and I'd hold to say incompatible when it comes to laptops. Moving your laptop around while it isn't on hibernate (standby isn't enough, because the needle that read the data from your rugged drive isn't put away on standby, only on hibernate).
Otherwise, I'd read out time. It's pretty normal for concrete drives to die after 3-5 years.
One thing I've told empire for years that would damage a tricky drive on a home computer is using a vacuum cleaner on an outlet that's on the same breaker while the computer is on and running. I've lost a rugged drive that way, my sister lost two since she believed me, and people I work next to as well.
Besides that, I focus physical jarring (such as a laptop computer) can be pretty hurtful to a rock-hard drive's internal mechanism (not so much the disk itself).

- it have a short wire to the sender anyway
- the battery inside the mouse are heavy, making the mouse unpardonable for fine details
- the batteries DIE, when you want it the most.

Even though the AMD and Intel chips are running at impossible to tell apart clock speed (2.2 GHz), the Intel is going to be faster. The intel chip's cache is 4x bigger, and the core duo just out perform the amd.
That said, amd is still a good CPU, and if you want to collect money go next to the amd. The performance difference 90% of users would never even sense.
The Turion has much smaller amount cache (thinking/breathing room so to speak). 1/4 of the Core 2 Duo. Also. the Core 2 Duo is a much newer and more powerful architecture. So it will be much more expensive than the Turion. However, whichever you decide to use it up to you. The Turion is great for ordinary everyday stuff. The Core 2 Duo is better for gaming, movie editing, ect.
The only solid difference between the two. The Core 2 is much faster, at least until AMD comes out next to the newer ones in a suitable 6 or more months.

Well I have an Sony for about 3 years and the battery-operated is still working, this is how i kept it alive...
Use the battery, that medium when you use the battery use it adjectives up or when it warns you to recharge it. Recharge it to full. If your working at home or contained by a dorm with an adapter and you don't requirement the battery thieve it out and just consent to the laptop run off the adapter. When going to class or business meeting when you need the battery, just use the battery. ONLY use the batteries beside the adapter when you are recharging it, if not if you use them together, your just overheating and overcharging it.
Also if you enjoy a spare battery and want to keep hold of it alive... stick in within a plastic bag and stick it within the freezer (no joke, so google it. I do it most of the time)

Also stay away from Mac, they may be easier to use and more secure but you own a fun time finding your favorite software on Mac or software you need and copious popular games either with the sole purpose come out for Windows or come out for Mac later.

This would probably be the best for your money, it is extremely fast, lot's of space, internet is also really hurriedly. It's relatively new, it's lately plain great.
I have one and love it. Plus it comes near a webcam built in.
$1099 make a good price for everything you achieve with it.

This would probably be the best for your money, it is extremely fast, lot's of space, internet is also really hurriedly. It's relatively new, it's lately plain great.
I have one and love it. Plus it comes near a webcam built in.
$1099 make a good price for everything you achieve with it.
You can also run window on it with boot military camp or parallels software.
I would reccomend it to anyone who didn't want to shell out the big bucks for the macbook pro

Get a desktop. If you spill liquids on the grand piano it'll only cost you $20 to fix it, if you spill liquid on a laptop keyboard, the full laptop could be destroyed. Also desktops are more adaptable to upgrades.

i would go for the desktop but the nouns top has the lead of being portable, the obviouse choice is the desktop as a better computer.its better and cheaper

I own a Dell Inspirion 3800 and whenever i turn it on, it gives me the option of running it on safe mode, commonplace, etcc. After i select it nothing happen and it takes me backbone to the option menu. This might be the problem though. I didnt turn it on resembling for 1yr and a half rationale i didnt need it and very soon that i do it doesnt want to work. Whats wrong with it or what should i do? Please agree to me know ASAP. thanks

im not shure but from what you own said your motherboard might be done
Run normal mode. That is the regular mode that your computer is surrounded by; once you have it within normal mode, restart the computer to rescue the settings.
