most of the time the blue screen appears coz the workstation have gone through a hardware driver problem. Since u own installed vista, it may be because vista doesnt support all the hardware available within the market still. Once u switch on the computer press F8 and it will run u to Safe mood etc etc menu. Choose start without restrating leeway. An read the error properly
Software or driver is not compatible with vista.
Could be a thorny drive failure, if contained by warranty take surrounded by for repair.
Did you just install Vista over I don`t know XP? If this is case telephone call Microsoft support for help or uninstall and reinstall XP.
