Whats a alien macbook motherboard cost?

Its a newer intel core 2 duo macbook. It be my sisters college laptop but it was hit by a bookcase and the blind cracked. Now the people at the apple store describe me i need a unsullied logicboard. It turns on and runs. I'm posting this from it using its wifi. It locks up my ipod when i use it with it and the os have been reloaded twice. What will a unusual mother/logicboard cost?
