What's a upright notebook computer to buy?

I want a notebook computer for college. Something that's rationalized and at a low price. 2,000 dollars is the most I want to pay. Any suggestions?

What's a upright notebook computer to buy?

I detestation answering this question lol because within are so many biddable things to say roughly Apple laptops...

What will you do doing w/ the laptop? (Look at source for choice.

I say turn Apple for laptop, if it gets stolen, at hand is a built in webcam (with a software, ie loJack, Undercover) that take pictures of the criminal the moment it's connected to the internet and reported stolen (by you). Plus it runs OS X, which is a lot more stable next your average Windows and it costs less.

Plus you receive a free iPod nano (after rebate) with a student purchase and a printer (student or not, but after rebate).

Apple also give you higher feature products, the MBP is made out of Aluminium instead some cheap plastic.

Btw it is like two computers contained by one, Core 2 Duo. Also Windows can run on Macs (intel) using Bootcamp, Parallels, Wine, VMWare, and such.

Good luck and sorry I can't really help you, my come first kind of hurts from answering so oodles Mac vs Windows question lol. Take a look at my other answers.
MacBook Pro because you can run Windows AND Mac OS X on it. Find one refurbished or out of a lease though.. Excellent system. Like 2 computers within one.
I would suggest you to buy sony vaio,
